Mr. Anjula De Silva

Mr. Anjula De silva was an outstanding student and a proud son of his alma mater S.Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia.Being appointed as a prefect, holding offices in clubs and societies, excelling in rugby to participate the sport,in national level, and leading teams into victory being his foundation from younger days, his exceptional leadership skills and attributes were sharpened while in college.In 2010 Mr. De silva joined the tea industry as a trainee executive at Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC and with in a short period of time he managed to develop exceptional marketing skills, gathered required qualifications, and excelled in the field being a noticeable individual. Mr.De silva subsequently joined Bartleet Produce Marketing (pvt) Ltd as a senior executive and worked his way up the co-operate ladder and was appointed as the Deputy General Manager. After Gaining 13 years of experience in the low-grown segment of the industry, Mr.De silva also got the appotunity to be a apart of the, srilanka tea board appointed  expert panel of teas tasters until he resigned from his position in 2022.

Mr.De silva joined team siyaka  subsequently in December 2022 ,to strengthen the high and medium segment of the company and currently working with both segments.He is also a member of the Colombo Tea Traders Association Steering Committee, who successfully developed and converted the 130-year-old traditional auction system into an E-auction platform following the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic and currently actively being a part of the continous development process of the platform.
